About the shop
Inter-City Violin Studios was founded in 1956 by Herbert and Peggy Bagwell. We are a professional orchestral string shop providing repairs, appraisals, sales and rentals for violins, violas, cellos, basses and bows.

Sheet Music
Our inventory of sheet music is second to none. We have an amazing collection of solos, duets, trios, quartets, concertos, sonatas, etc… Our musician friends have been known to spend hours sifting thru the drawers finding treasured pieces long forgotten.

Repairs
Our full service repair shop can handle all of your needs. Of course we do the basics: cutting bridges, fitting pegs, resetting soundposts, gluing open seams & corners. We also perform full restorations including varnishing, planing fingerboards, rebuilding corners & edges, bass bars, soundpost cracks…just about anything you can bring us, we can fix!

Music Events
